In celebration of Rare Pepe as the first art on the blockchain there were featured talks, panels and livestreams on Clubhouse and Twitter leading up to a 24 hour auction and exhibition with opening and closing events at the Narcissus Gallery in Decentraland with a voice chat on the TokenSmart Discord.
Narcissus Gallery and Partners bridged and ported a large selection of original Rare Pepe’s from their native Counterparty blockchain into the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem and wanted to elevate the awareness and historical significance of the project as well as allow for the history of this project and the community to be told.

Wednesday 5/26, Auction Close on the TokenSmart Discord. Music by DJ Pepe, Theo Goodman closed out the auction live.
The launch event was co-hosted on the TokenSmart Discord by SandyMeows and Rizzle and was kicked off with music by DJ PEPE, a Scavenger Hunt and giveaways. Following was a gallery tour with RareScrilla and Theo Goodman. After that a panel moderated by Jason Bailey (Artnome) featuring Joe Looney, MLO, Eleonora Brizi, Theo Goodman and RareScrilla. The 24 hour auction was announced and the live auction format introduced by professional auctioneer, Theo Goodman. Twelve live auctions were held the following day at an event kicked off by DJ Pepe and contest winners announced as well as POAP giveaways on the TokenSmart Discord. Several of the pieces sold for their highest amount ever, demonstrating the advantage of porting them to the Ethereum ecosystem.
