The Art Tech Pavilion was conceived and created by Lisa Kolb to help modernize the 67th year of the world famous Sausalito Art Festival. Skaddadle was brought on to curate and showcase the latest in immersive and experiential art in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Video, Interactive and Holographic Display. We also partnered with XR Marin to allow festival goers to experience painting in 3D in Virtual Reality with Google Tilt Brush as well as watch live demos of artists creating in Virtual Reality. The Art Tech Pavilion was a huge success with an estimated 2500 visitors, many of whom eagerly waited in a consistent line to try VR.
Check out the Sausalito Art Festival Art Tech Pavilion page for artist bios and more information.
