The Art Tech Pavilion was created and curated by Lisa Kolb to help modernize the 67th year of the world famous Sausalito Art Festival. showcasing the latest in immersive and experiential art in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Video, Interactive and Holographic Display. A key partner, XR Marin was brought on to allow festival goers to experience painting in 3D in Virtual Reality with Google Tilt Brush as well as watch live demos of artists creating in Virtual Reality. Additionally, the Academy of Art University brought in student artists and instructors to showcase the latest in video game animation and creation as well as a virtual reality experience. 

The Art Tech Pavilion was a huge success with an estimated 2500 visitors, many of whom eagerly waited in a consistent line to try VR.
